Being connected to the internet is not always as easy over here. Maybe the fact that we've seen more pay phones than cell phones could be taken like an indication that all of the Karelian population are not yet online. Or even interested in something as trivial.
But here at a nice round hotel in Petrosavodsk we are being treated with a fast wifi connection, and thus I will offer you a few pictures to look at.

The view from our hotel in Sortavala. Our powerhouse Lina is getting ready for another day on her bike. Her motto has become to ride as fast as possible, so that she doesn't need to ride for so long. Her plan hasnt quite yet proved effective, though. But we assure you that she reamins optimistic.
