A real adventure is so much more than just moving from place A to B. In fact the start and endpoints are usually circumstantial as well as As any traveller will be quick to tell you. In truth the journey in itself is just the tip of the iceberg.
Before cycling even a mile there is a whole lot of preparation. And not nearly all of it takes place on the back of a bike. Seen here is Ms. Jelanski negotiating a good deal on a portable usb modem to keep us connected to the western world during our long stretch in Karelia. Which in turn will allow you to follow us in nearly real time during the journey.
